I am passionate about wool appliqué!
Please read the following review! Thank you Shirley for taking the time to write me such a nice note!!!
As a "maker" and kit designer I just love feedback!
Laura,
Over a year ago, you so kindly put two Glad Tidings kits together, for myself and a friend. When we received it, we were amazed at all the extra’s that were included. The sample stitching, the sewing needles, all the larger copies of the squares. It was perfection, except that I was expecting white or cream and it came tan. We were both in the middle of other things, and then we decided, it is time. The kits were brought back out, the instructions reread, and the fun began. I was no longer unhappy with the colors and so excited to begin. Janet, the overachiever, is almost finished. I am on section 3. I cannot begin to tell you how happy we both are with this project. Thank you, thank you. All the extra bits of greenery are being used. When looking at the picture, it dawned on me that I was using more than the usual. Now, this is normal for my friend, the more embroidery the better, it is not normal for me. However, I am having such fun, that more is better. LOL. Will it be quilted by Christmas, not sure, but I wanted you to know, that both of our projects will be completed within the month.
Just wanted you to know that the kits are fabulous. And you have two very happy customers. We will be following what kits you have, and perhaps one day a new one will grab our attention.
Forgive the rambling.
Bunny hugs,
Shirley B
(Shirley B surprised her friend with pillows made from the Glad Tidings Blocks - Special Order) Read below.
Dear Laura,
Here I am again. Vicki adored her two pillows. I rolled them to hide the fact I did pillows she wanted and when she opened the first box, she started crying. Her glad tidings pillows made her so happy. I had the pillow forms hidden. We just got together for our Valentine’s luncheon, and she shared she has two friends that fell in love with the pillows and asked her to find out more. So I have just sent her your name, the name-Glad Tidings, and your etsy site. I do hope this brings your some more fans. My machine quilter’s daughter got married in the fall, so my Glad Tidings did not get quilted before the holidays. I told her to let me know when to send it. Everyone squeals with delight when they see it before quilting. So very happy.
Thank you again, Laura for helping me make a friend very happy.
Bunny hugs, Shirley B
